The 616 Outpost was born during a time when grocery store shelves were nearly bare and an earthquake struck our area. I will never forget the helplessness I felt. That experience created a desire to provide greater security, preparedness, and peace of mind for my family and friends.
That mission grew into a veteran-owned business focused on dependable knives, survival gear, and practical preparedness products—the things that truly matter in times of need.
I personally select or create every product offered on this website. Each one must pass my “What and Why” test: What purpose does it serve, and why should someone be able to depend on it? This helps ensure that every product has real value and can be relied on when it matters most.
